The Ontario Summer Games start today in Toronto and run through August 19, 2012. This year the slogan is:  “Dreams Begin Here”.  About 2,500 young athletes will compete in 28 sports in multiple venues across Toronto, Ontario.

The OSG has been a springboard to the Olympics for over a dozen athletes. The Opening Ceremony will be held August 16 at 7 p.m. at Varsity Stadium, UOT.  The games began in 1970 and are now considered Ontario’s largest multi-sport event to include both team and individual sports.
