Oakville Ontario Video Around Town

Posted by on October 23, 2011

Oakville Ontario is a planned and structured community.  There are many services that are transparent to visitors which make the community a great place to live.

From great schools and various schooling options such as a Catholic School Board and Halton District School Board, Montessori schools and a network of private schools.   Public transportation nodes along with GO Train stations for a quick and easy connection to downtown Toronto.  There are garbage cans near trail markers to avoid litter around the community. Halton region also has  a very successful recycling program.  The recent change to garbage pickup every two weeks, but recyled item pickup weekly has increased the amount of recycling within the community.

The region maintains the many trails and greenery in the area and campers enjoy Bronte Creek Provincial Park.

Much of the video depicts a quiet residential Oakville, but the videographer gets a little enamoured with a cat at the end so if you are in a rush, the cat doesn’t catch anything, but it is cute if you like cats.

Notice the well organized mail boxes with decorative covering overhead and the stylish lamp post and beautiful greenery.
