Happy New Year to everyone in Oakville!
Hope you all had a great holiday and have had time to spend some time with family and friends.
Tomorrow is back to school and also back to work for most Oakvillians. Although it may be difficult to get back into the routine, getting to bed earlier tonight will be a step in the right direction.
No snow on the ground in January seems a bit unusual. Some say they prefer to have snow, while others appreciate the increased mobility that a snowless town provides. Somehow it is just easier to get around shopping, to school and to work without bad weather or slippery road conditions.
Cottage Country had some snow over the holidays, so for those that got a chance to go north, there was indeed a white Christmas this year.
