Art in the Park takes place at Waterfront Heritage Park Bronte from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, August 6th in Oakville. There will be muscial entertainment by Tropical Daze and also a food and beer garden. This is Oakville’s premiere annual art show. The Waterfront Heritage Park Bronte is located on Bronte Road south of Lakeshore Road.
This is the 47th annual event which will feature over 150 local and national artists and artisans. Artists have displayed at Oakville’s Art in the Park from as far away as the Bahamas.
A wide range of art will be on display including oil paintings, acrylic and watercolor paintings as well as glass, ceramics, mixed media, fine jewellery and sculptures.
This is a great summer event to participate in with admission still only $3.
Parking is available on Bronte road, but it is better to carpool or take Oakville Transit to Sobeys Mall, Jones and Lakeshore leavinig a 2 block walk. Some businesses will also allow for parking as it is the civic holiday Monday.
The Oakville Art Society is a Canadian registered charity founded in 1965 which was incorporated in 1971 as a not-for-profit corporation.
