Midnight Madness is this Friday, July 20, 2012 in Oakville!   The event will run until past midnight as downtown Oakville opens its doors the whole night long. A free shuttle bus operates every 15 minutes from the Oakville GO station as the main part of downtown Oakville will be closed to vehicle traffic. Shuttles operate from 5:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.  Free parking can also be found downtown during the event. There are several lots along Church Street

This year, cyclists can have their bikes valet parked across from the RBC bank near LCBO at Lakeshore and Trafalgar (south side of Lakeshore).

Midnight Madness Entertainment Oakville eventGreat shopping, delicious food and live music & entertainment mark this largest retail event of the year.  Midnight Madness typically attracts over 50,000 people to downtown Oakville to share in the festivities.  The event begins at 6p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 when the downtown area will be closed to cars along Lakeshore Road.

A wide variety of music and stages is sprinkled throughout the downtown area for pedestrians to enjoy.  Listen to live blues, rock, pop and even a Beatles cover band.  Tiny Little Doses playing blues and rock on Dunn Street, and Patrick Lehman will also showcase their music along with acts like The Frank Rio Band, Mike Branton and The Kings.  Stage locations include Lakeshore Road W. and Navy Street, Towne Square (The Britles), Dunn Street North and South, Reynolds Street North and South as well as Lakeshore Road E. and Allan Street.
