The 5th annual Oakville Sport Recognition Awards are being held Sunday Oct. 21, 2012 at the Operating Engineers Banquet Hall, 2245 Speers Road, from 2-4 p.m. Top Oakville athletes, teams, coaches, individuals involved with sport development, and volunteers will be recognized at this event. 2011 Medal recipients included Rachel Bronzovich, Gary Staats, Sean Baker and Matthew Turner among many more.
This year the awards are for contribution to the sports community from May 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012.
Sport Oakville has offered the award nomination forms leading up to the event and we congratulate all of this year’s nominees and winners.
