Oakville Jazz Festival 2011 in Downtown Oakville
Yesterday began the 19th annual Oakville Jazz Festival and takes place on six stages through tomorrow, August 7, 2011.
Oakville Jazz Festival
Every year the Jazz festival draws thousands from Oakville and surrounding communities. Businesses in Oakville also benefit from the increased foot traffic and some extend normal hours.
The entire downtown area becomes a pedestrian zone free of car traffic and performances start after 6pm and go through the night. The wide variety of bands and performers make this a must attend event for music afficianados. Best of all, the event is free!
