Downtown Oakville Power Outage for Monday November 14, 2011

The lights went out tonight in downtown Oakville, Ontario affecting many residential homes and businesses within the area bordered by Cornwall Road to the north, Winston Churchill Boulevard to the west, Lake Shore Road to the south and Navy Street to the west. Oakville Hydro was responding to the incident. This type of thing does not happen often in Oakville, but some businesses are considering backup power generators if this should happen more frequently.
