Bingley Bash in Oakville – Victoria Day Fireworks

Posted by on May 21, 2012

Bingley Bash 2012 OakvilleBingley Crescent in the new Bronte Creek development of Oakville (formerly the Richview Golf Course) celebrated Victoria Day on Sunday May 20th on the eve of Victoria Day with a grand fireworks display that rivalled some of the biggest in the region. The show went on for over 45 minutes with all sorts of unique bursts of color, swirls and even parachutes that dropped out of the sky for kids to scoup up.

A wagon rolled by filled to the brim with treats and chocolates while home made pinwheel sandwiches and other treats were handed out to all present for the afternoon and evening festivity.  Organized by the local community, the benficiaries of all of their planning and hard work were scores of kids from the neighborhood who took turns bouncing on the huge Bingley bouncey castle and racing on the 2-person raceway. There were darts and golf and other carnival games along with face painting, great music and even dance lessons for the kids. Games included freeze music and the ever popular limbo.

Bingley Bash Oakville Ontario FireworksFamilies had a blast and to top the evening off, the custom fireworks display began promptly at dusk framed by a musical backdrop that made the evening memorable and spectacular.

From the pop corn machine to the snow cone maker, this local festival was one to be remembered.

Justin James, one Oakville resident who is currently completing his teen fiction book, was in charge of the fireworks and timed them to go off without a hitch (almost..). Everyone praised the show and the Bingley Bash will go down as one of the most successful local parties and events held this year.
