The fire and resulting smoke damage was so extensive that Apple Annies is closed for renovations at least until the New Year. Damage was estimated at $250,000. The neighboring pets are all safe and had to be relocated during the fire damage repairs.

Apple Annie’s closed until new year
A local restaurant will be closed until the new year after sustaining heavy damage in a weekend fire.
“The damage is pretty extreme…. It couldn’t have happened at a worse time. We’ve had to cancel Christmas parties,” he noted.
“We’re forwarding most of our clients to the Burlington Animal Hospital for food services and we’re doing house calls at no charge,” said Jones.
